Alison Rector and Janice Anthony, 2 Maine painters, have created a body of work they call How The Light Gets In.  Rector & Anthony both use light in their paintings.  They are inspired by the words of the late great poet & songwriter Leonard Cohen.  Cohen wrote, "there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in", in his famous song Anthem.

This two-person exhibit will be on view at Courthouse Gallery Fine Art is Ellsworth Maine.

An opening reception for the exhibit will be Wednesday August 17, 5pm to 7pm.  Meet the artists.  You're invited.
